in response to mealso... How HORRIBLE, Im so sorry to hear of this... but am glad you are now safe. I support people morally not financially... I have everything in the world except money... in fact my gas was off for 7 days, we had to take freezing cold showers and no cooking or dryer... it could have been worse, my water could have been shut off.... but I would ask your local social services and domestic violence bureau.... And I wish you the very best.

Hello, About two days ago, my husband of 10 yrs attacked me by hitting, slapping and choking me. It didnt end there, he flung a pot with boiling hot water at me and it poured down my right leg and I have 2nd degree burns from my hip down past my knee. I am in alot of pain but I feel more lost. I am blessed because my father purchased the home we are in about a year ago. We are just paying him back...but I do not know how to pay my other bills? And how am I gonna survive untill I "get back on my feet"? The bills are still coming in and I have two teenagers...I have applied for my state food stamps and have contacted legal aid to get a divorce immediately. He is in jail and wont be out for a long time (prior charges)...any suggestions?
